2023 In Review

In 2023 DobroSKILLS certified 539 students.
In 2023 DobroSKILLS certified 539 students.

It was a very exciting year in 2023. In review of the past year:

  • I certified 539 students in American Red Cross CPR.

    • 21 additional students from my Private and Public CPR Classes.

    • 148 students in Hands Only CPR.

In Spring 2023 I moved my public classes to the Aurora Regional Fire Museum and I couldn't be happier with my partnership. I could not ask for a better location with great parking and a great connection to the Aurora, IL history. I just scheduled my January and February 2024 public classes with the president of the museum.

My last class of 2023 ended in a very special way. I taught a CPR Class to the childcare company that first hired me. The owners of Poko Loko Early Learning Center invited me to teach a private Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED class at their Morton Grove Location to their leadership team. It was a great moment for me because I was able to teach CPR to the owners, and their grown children, who are helping run the company. I was a camp counselor and babysitter for David and Danny back in the early 2000's and it was a great to see these two young men grown up and helping them run their family business.

In mid summer I tried to expand my services to virtual training, but I was not able to successful launch that program due to lack of interest. I will still offer the American Red Cross Adult Child & Baby First Aid/CPR/AED online only course for purchase on my website for anyone that interested.

I'm looking forward to 2024. I hoping to see everyone I saw back in 2022 for recertification and I will be going into details how I can now offer AED and First Aid Supplies going forward.
